How To Export Blackberry Contacts to CSV

We of course recommend that you use Migration+ to easily transfer your contacts in only a few clicks from Blackberry to iPhone, Android, or other OSes we support. What if you damaged your Blackberry thought?! Fortunately there still are a few options:

6. Click Next
7. Select One way sync from device
8. Click Options
9. Select Comma
10. Click Browse
11. Browse to where you want to save the file

IF YOUR DEVICE IS NOT RECOGNIZED BY BLACKBERRY DESKTOP MANAGER
1. Identify where your Blackberry backups are on your computer (should be in “\My Documents\Blackberry\Backup” or “\Program Files\Research In Motion\”). You will see one or more files called something like “BB_Model_Number(Date).ipd” where the date and model number will reflect when you backed up your Blackberry and the model number of your Blackberry.
2. Download and Install MagicBerry for Blackberry (note if the download link is not working, just google “magicberry”)
3. Open MagicBerry
4. Open the IPD file you want to use to extract your contacts (probably the most recent one if there are multiple)
5. Expand the section called “Address Book – All” and select a contact, doesn’t matter which.
6. Select Manipulate from the menu, then choose Export
7. Change the radio button to select “Export All Adresses”
8. Click the Export to CSV button
9. Click OK on the prompt notifying you it saved
10. (OPTIONAL) Email the CSV to colin@intuvio.com. I’ll load it into Migration+ cloud servers so you can one click import them to Android, iPhone, or Blackberry
